eUttaranchal turned 6 today
Yupee! we are six today!
We?? Who??
eUttaranchal turns 6 today! It was the same day in 2003 when eUttaranchal.com came into existence. However, the website was formally launched a little while later. Read here if you want to know how eUttaranchal evolved over the time.
No birthday bash! no party thrown! no formal announcement! We left it go unnoticed.
Puzzled?? Why??
- Is eUttaranchal a grown up baby now?
- Do we NOT like celebrations?
- Why did we miss out all this fun?
We will drop in answers to these “Whys” shortly. In the meantime do not forget to wish us on turning up 6. We would love your wishes

At eUttaranchal, we believe that Actions speaks louder than words. In the past 6 years, we uttered no big words, no noticeable actions, nothing. We just tried to sum up things and create a repository of all the available information about Uttaranchal. Furthermore, we connected the people of Uttaranchal defying all boundaries and made a noticeable existence with eUttaranchal Matrimonial bringing joy to over 400 lives.
We found no reason for Celebration when we turned 6 a month back. Probably because we are yet a few miles away from what we wanted to do and achieve. Rest assured, we will not let go the 7th birthday without celebration. We will join hands with you, come together and will celebrate the goodness that we achieve in the next few months! Tune to in www.euttaranchal.com regularly for more eventful updates.

I’m always in love with uttarakhand, but this time my recent visit to Badrinath and rest of the parts of the state makes me feel so sad, as i was never been. earlier when ever, i visited this state , i felt so fresh nad delighted, because of it beauty, snow covered mountains and crowd at various pilgrimage. I’m so concerned about the lost beauty of the badrinath, as it is my favourite place in the India.I always used to talk about those places.
itz my sincere request to people of Uttarakhand, please save ur beauty, only beacuse of this God’s gift you people are so special, ur livelihood is also beacuse of this.
is polythene is banned in mountains, then why cahi wala or other shopkeers are using it. it is your state, its responsibility is yours, don’t allow visitors to tuse polythene or to throw plastic bottles. as it is destroying the beauty of those place. Also i’m reuesting to the state government , please stop further constructions at pligramages, now eveyr where, instead of natural beauty, we we are seeing ,concrete jungles…..big hotels, lodges….no one is concerned of destroying ecosystem.
