I want to request all uttaranchal government,
non-government body and tourists also that please avoid use of polythene in “DevBhoomi”,because you all know that it is harmful for soil’ animals and also peoples.I specially request to government that make strict rules against polythene use, and duty of peoples that when you are going to buy something please take degradable carry bag.

Sir,
We are also working for old aged and disabled in Haldwani, Uttrakhand. We are running a society naming, HEM MEMORIAL SOCIETY. We are registered society. Presently 42 Nos. of old aged and disabled are registered with us. Presently we are providing them day care facility. We are providing them exercise equipments for exercise, Library, Recreational Items, Audio-Visual Aids,etc. Other than that we are helping them by organizing time to time health checkup camps, doing their eye cataract operation at our cost, taking them to physio therapy clinic, helping them to get govt pension – old aged, disabled pension, widow pension etc. Other than that we help them in their day today problems, what so ever and how much we can do we do. Till date we are not getting help from anywhere. But at present we are facing financial problem. If any help from anywhere is provided to us, we can do even many many more good and noble works for them. Thus i am writing to you with great hopes for help.We can submit/provide any related document, photographs or media coverages whenever asked immediately in hard/soft copy.
Kindly Sponsor/help. Also please guide us from where can we get help to built an old age home in our city.

The culture and tradition of our beloved “Dev Bhoomi”
Uttaranchal is a dreem for others. It inspired to all
those who visits our Uttaranchal. I hope the new gene-
ration of Uttaranchal will preserve our culture and
tradition which is not found any where in the world
other than our ” Dev Bhoomi” which is gifted to us
by nature and God. Also I would like to request to
Govt as well as NGOs to preserve the environment from
pollution of tourist places.

Its a wonderful site,full of knowledge about our culture and traditions which we are forgetting in the midst of globalisation. We all must come forward to preserve our rich and diverse culture,also contribute towards its development.
